With ongoing developments regarding COVID-19, we have made some changes to the operations on our property to ensure our staff, residents and shelter guests remain safe and healthy.

  • Evening Community Meal: Dinner is provided each evening starting at 5:00pm and ending at 6:00pm. It will either be a to go meal or seated inside.
  • In-Kind Donations: Contact 702-932-8170 or email donations@vegasrescue.org for details on pick ups (there is a 6-8 week wait as of 10/01/21). Drop offs of furniture and clothing are NOW being accepted (as of 01/04/22)
  • Shelter Intake: You can review our new policy on intakes here vegasrescue.org/emergencyshelter. As of 1/12/22 we are on hold for intakes.  This will be reviewed again on 2/1/22 with the hopes to reinstate intakes on 2/1/22.
  • Recovery Program: You can review our new policy on intakes here vegasrescue.org/recovery. Check back often for updates.
  • Thrift Store: Open Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30am to 3pm.
  • Volunteers: Visit our volunteer page for more details vegasrescue.org/volunteer
  • Community Service: We are currently providing court ordered community service hours. Please call 725-910-8339 for more details.
  • Food Boxes: This service has been temporarily suspended for those with an out of state ID.
  • Giveaway House: If in desperate need, clothing can be picked up at front gate.

As a nonprofit Christian organization, the Mission receives no government support; we rely solely upon the compassion and support of concerned individuals, churches, corporations, and other organizations.

We work around the clock to assist those who need the most help in our community.

Note: intake is on a case by case basis base pending COVID testing and from 1/1/21 through to the beginning of 6/1/21 we operated at a mandated 50% capacity only for shelter.
