Ways to Give
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission could not do its work without the generosity and support of friends like you. Our homeless neighbors would not be served, our hurting would not be healed, and our hopeless would not be helped without a compassionate community to support us.
Whether you can give your money, your stuff, or your time (through volunteering) — or all three! — there are all sorts of ways you can give to the Mission. You can also support our work by shopping at our Thrift Store.
By giving a gift of any size, you are helping to provide meals, shelter and life-changing services to those who are experiencing homelessness in Las Vegas.
To inquire about a corporate donation, call (702) 382-1766 or write us via our contact page.
We greatly appreciate donations of shoes, clothing, bedding and blankets in any condition and any quantity. (We are not allowed to accept pillows and mattresses unless they are unused.) We also appreciate other typical thrift-store items such as unopened cosmetics, knick-knacks, bicycles, working small electronics, furniture, books and CDs, etc. Larger appliances are OK if in working condition. We also need hygiene items for our homeless giveaway.
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission Thrift Store is our primary vehicle for distributing free shoes and clothing to our city’s homeless population. Income from the Thrift Store’s retail and online sales (eBay and Craigslist) helps fund the Mission’s programs.
We will gladly pick up your items at your home or office, but please understand that the Mission is not a trash collector or residential “clear-out” service. Our drivers are not permitted to accept items that cannot be reasonably and expeditiously distributed or sold. We pay the same rates for trash collection as everybody else, and simply cannot accept the additional costs of disposing of items we cannot promptly distribute to the needy.
Or you can drop off your donation at the Mission anytime day or night, where we will receive them gratefully.

Shop Our Thrift Store
Our Thrift Store is located at 480 W. Bonanza Road in Las Vegas. The store and warehouse are open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday-Saturday. We feature special items and big discounts every Saturday. We are closed on Sunday.
The Thrift Store is an important link between the community and the needy of Clark County. Donated items are prepared to be sold, or given to those in need. All proceeds from sales help pay for programs and services at the Mission.
The Thrift Store carries a wide variety of items, including refrigerators, microwaves, TV sets, couches, chairs, other furniture, clothes, kitchenware and more. Our inventory is constantly changing, depending on what has been donated.
We have free clothing giveaways to homeless people and neighbors in need every Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We have a voucher program for families and individuals who are moving into permanent housing. Through the program, they can get free starter kits of dishes, pots and pans, silverware, household items and furniture.
Donations of vehicles, boats, and RV’s
Transform your vehicle into a “Vehicle of Hope”
We find new homes for tax-deductible vehicle, boat or RV donations, and we use the money raised to fund our critical programs. This means we can provide more meals, shelter and lasting hope to the men, women and children who need it most.
