We are so thankful and appreciative of the volunteers who help at the
Mission everyday.
Our volunteers are a diverse group representing
many different spans of age, occupation,
race and religion. You can
make a difference at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission in
a variety of ways. We have opportunities for the individual who would like to become
part of a family-like atmosphere. We also have volunteer activities designed for
single families or groups.
Volunteers help serve dinner at the
Mission.
Webster’s dictionary defines volunteer as: one who enters into or offers himself
for a service
voluntarily. We like to define volunteer as: the heart and soul of
the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. We have some
wonderful people who come here to offer
us one simple little thing: their time! It’s a valuable commodity that everyone
has. We appreciate
everyone who gives up some of their time to help us to help the
needy of this community.
